Banned Documentary

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=359924937663867563

It's quite disturbing.

Today's Song of the Day is "No Quarter" by Led Zeppelin off their 1973 album "Houses of the Holy".

Crazy Fact: This documentary's still got me a little fucked up. I don't have one.

Crazy Fact: Robert Plant is still alive and touring and making records and so on... and Jimmy Page is all talk and no production.

Whups, pardon me, my info is old. You see I was doing research for a music company last year, and they were producing a Led Zep tribute... yeah it sounds like crap, but actually they do pretty nifty tributes, a-la Apocalyptica and so on... anyway last year both Plant and Page were bla-bla-blaing about producing albums, and as you both know Plant
released an album went on tour, and Jimmy... bla bla bla'd. Hasn't released anything since 2000.

To be honest, I'm a Led Zep fan who hasn't listened to much of the stuff since they broke up, but Plant's approach of leaving Zep behind and trying to make new music I can respect.

Although, to give Page a break, he's been collaborating and producing lots of other projects, it's not like he's sitting at home doing nothing. But there was a lot of hype about an album in 2005 which just never happened. He remains a god, I won't dispute it, but he seems less musically alive as Plant... who may be more Undead than alive, wha wha! But he's producing...

Ze Nis would not want to seem uninterested in the Zep which is definitely along with old Iron Maiden the most fun and most irritating to sing. ;-) ups, I forgot Queen...
