I just got back from Bar Harbour, Maine. Every server in every restaurant, every hotel porter, all the front desk people were from away, far away, like Russia, Poland, Argentina, Hungary it was bizarre and with thick accents, not born in the usa just working. It was so weird. I can only think that they are on a student exchange program or something. THis wasn't like NYC or something this was freeaking MAINE!
