I Think I Know How to Use a Semi-Colon.

School is, like, totally almost over. I'm looking forward to it. Until then I have to find less obvious ways to procrastinate, till then; publishing my procrastination is a bit much.

Today's Song of the Day is "Pride and Joy" by Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble off his 1983 debut "Texas Flood."

Crazy Fact: In 1982, the band played the Montreux Festival and their performance caught the attention of David Bowie. Stevie Ray laid down the lead guitar tracks for what became Bowie's Let's Dance album in late 1982.

dude. you so dont know how to use a semi colon - or at least Im not convinced, perhaps you should sepend more time practicing using the comma, take a class maybe, before you go off bragging about something you can only contradictorily back up.

what's with this anonymous posting? say your name!
and contradictorily is a terrible world - a real word, yes, but so inelegant.

anyway, i saw stevie ray lives 3 times in toronto and each show was amazing. i was really sad when he died. i know pif, you hate me for having seen his show. i won't tell you who was on the bill with him or you will really hate me.

I want to hear more about procrastinating. What exactly do you mean by procrastinating? Where is the line between being distracted or delayed, and true procrastinating? Is procrastinating an active or passive act?

"Procrastinate" was the first new English word I taught to an Austrian officemate; he considered replacing "graphic designer" with "Procrastinator" on his business card. Naturally, "Procrastinator" sounds extra amusing with an Austrian accent.

Procrastinating is a little understood resource. So many good things are the product of intense procrastination. A time will come soon when the true value of this state will be harnessed for purposes unknown.

celery! you saw stevie ray live?? three times??? ack!

sadly, i never got the chance.

i do have a copy of a good bootleg of him doing accoustic that is just so great, though. (not that that makes up for not seeing him live, or his untimely death, or anything. i'm just trying to make you at least slightly jealous of me, since i'm extremely jealous of you.)
