Where's Waldo?

k so we are going to elope. wedding planning blows. Sarah wants to go south, I want to go to Italy. I think I can convince her to go to Italy or Spain or Greece. Yum.

We go. We have a big party as soon as we get back. Life is good.

Today's Song of the Day is "Spanish Train" by Chris de Burgh off his 1976 album "Spanish Train & Other Stories."

Crazy Fact: It is with shame that I admit the first concert I ever saw was Chris de Burgh, I loved it.

Do it! It's your guys' adventure. You should do what YOU want to do. I'm biased toward Italy of course. If you need a traslater, I'm certainly available.

Mi piace molto la lingua Italiana! Che bella!
Lavoro' per quasi niente.
Portami una Vespa a la stessa volte.
Questa zuppa e schifozza.
Perche no baccia mi culo.

Are just a few things you'll need to know how to say.
ahhh Italy...

when did I say no to italy? I said no to cold. and you want to go to france anyway, so stop posting our non wedding plans and confusing everyone. The next thing you know we'll be having a wedding again and there will be an even better reason to do that.

now imagine I was laughing fondly and kissin you a little while delivering that little rant.

I highly recommend Italy, at least for a honeymoon. there are ridiculously cheap flights to those countries from Berlin. And from those countries to berlin, incidentally.

In terms of Beaurocratic Nightmares, do NOT get married in Germany. In fact, the best country for foreigners to get married in is Scotland, or so I've heard. It's quick, it's easy, and you only have to be 14 (!).

Go for Edinburgh! I need a reason to visit Conrad anyway.

I have contacts. We can really party it up.

Wedding planning totally blows, I'm totally proctastinating, and that's a really bad idea.

Forget Wedding plans. I think the important bit of info in that posyt was the whole Chris De Burgh thing. I'm really very embarassed for you. I think you shouldn't have admitted that one. I think I lost a little respect for you now.

Oh and Edinburgh is sweet, would be a great place to do it. Not the warmest place though, you'd have to go in summer.

I believe my first live concert was Huey Lewis and the News, with the Tower of Power, and that's not nearly so embarassing.

"You feel the Pooooower of love!"

Woo hoo!

I'm more into a kind of Spanish Bus adventure. You know, the bus to Toledo from Madrid, or the bus to Guadalajara, the mountains are great.

I guess the story wouldn't work on a bus.

yeah, see, i think huey lewis is way worse than chris de burgh. there's something compelling and bizarre about chris de burgh cheese, but huey, huey's just lame. huey has no soul. not even a slightly ridiculous, overwrought one.

my first concert was pink floyd.

italy sounds wonderful -- just make sure you have short hair, pif, or you'll be molested.

How dare you say that Huey Lewis has no soul! The tower of power were the bomb!

And Back to the Future is still a great movie.
