It's no wonder I pretty much only watch movies I've already seen. I'm just sick as hell of movie disappointment.
I look at the movie {proof} and I figure it'll be great you got the Pulizer Prize winning play thing, the guy who wrote the play also wrote the screen play...
I guess I forgot that Gwyneth Paltrow bites my bag.
She was rock solid stuck on three moves The Extreme Crunched-up Forehead of Ultimate Worry, The Sad Dead Stare of the Bored and The Gape-mouthed Angry-Faced Flounder (still worried) swam through a few scenes. F.
I had a real-problem caring.
She should have been a loser. A Geek. Odd and uncomfortable. As it was I never questioned whether or not she wrote the proof, When I should have been SURE she didn't. Then there would have been drama. Surprise, a change of events, a reversal. But instead it was just a tedious unbelivable journey of vindication and forgone conclusions.
Doesn't anyone KNOW how to tell a story anymore?
Are they just handing out Pulizer Prizes as door prizes these days?

Gwyneth's daddy, Bruce Paltrow, was a famous TV producer ('The White Shadow', 'St. Elsewhere, 'Homicide: Life on the Street', etc). She was born with a big fat silver spoon in her mouth, and went to a very slective private school. Steven Spielberg is a close family friend.
She is Hollywood Royalty, regardless of any talent. At least she's pretty...
Crazy Fact - She stole the script for 'Shakespeare In Love' off her best friend's coffee table (her best friend was offered the main role), then turned around, lobbied the producers and STOLE the role away from her best friend. Her best friend now no longer speaks to her. Who was she ? Wynona Ryder...
